Clam Shell Dish with Underwater Scene

These large Atlantic clam shells are found on the beaches of the Jersey Shore.  Shells are handcrafted decoupaged with an underwater scene and painted with gold leaf edging.  Designs are finished with a waterproof and food-safe topcoat, creating a brilliant shine and making them more versatile.  Clam shell dishes can be used as decor, candy dishes, soap dishes, jewelry dishes. . . the possibilities are endless.

Shells measure approximately 5-5 1/2 inches in diameter.  The back of the shell is left in its natural state.  Clear acrylic stand included for displaying.
