Clam Shell Dish with Blue Flowers

These large Atlantic clam shells are found on the beaches of the Jersey Shore.  Shells are handcrafted decoupaged with a blue flower design and painted with gold leaf edging.  Designs are finished with a waterproof and food-safe topcoat, creating a brilliant shine and making them more versatile.  Clam shell dishes can be used as decor, candy dishes, soap dishes, jewelry dishes. . . the possibilities are endless.

Shells measure approximately 5-5 1/2 inches in diameter.  The back of the shell is left in its natural state.  Clear acrylic stand included for displaying.
